Would you date someone that doesn’t make you laugh regularly?

Question

My boyfriend makes me laugh until I’m crying almost every day and I love it, but I mentioned to one of my friends that a recent sexual experience turned into a giggle fit and she thought I should be mad about the “disrespect”. 
I get not wanting to crack up during sex, but this started a whole conversation about dating someone that makes you laugh. Does laughter (or lack there of) make or break a relationship for you/would you be okay spending your life with someone you don’t find funny?

I LOVVVEEEEE my bf’s sense of humour. We have the same sense of humour and it’s one of my favourite parts of our relationship. I’ve definitely had a laughing fit while having sex. 
I wouldn’t have it any other way. If my SO couldn’t make me laugh or didn’t laugh at my jokes then I’d leave bc that’s important to me. This person is also supposed to be my best friend, and that include laughing fits all the time

I love how my husband makes me laugh. He's such a goob. And we've definitely had laughing fits during sex too haha. I couldn't imagine a relationship without frequent laughter. It keeps you young and happy

The only way I could be with someone who doesn’t make me laugh is if they thought I was hilarious. Laughter must exist! A sense of humor is a must. And context matters. What one person finds disrespectful when they’re not in the room... well, that’s why they say “I guess you had to be there.” 
I think laughter is how we connect and how you know someone truly “gets you.”

My boyfriend has me cracking up over the randomest things and we both agreed we love how we can go from joking about nonsense to having sex and then back to hysterically laughing. Sometimes it just depends what you are into! Some people may be into the whole seriousness of being with a significant other, but others rather have laughter (or both!)
