Do you have a dog? I would consider that too and check dog for fleas- mosquito bites could also trigger allergic reaction of baby was outside. Chigger bugs as well.

Fleas or mosquitoes? Maybe slight allergy mine get red like that

They are defo flea bites!
1. They are clustered around the legs
2. They form red lumps
3. There are many around the same area.
Check the bottom of his back as well because they go for legs, feet and bottom of back.
Get some anti itch cream and get a pest person in to flea bomb the house.

Thanks everyone for the input. He was extra fussy yesterday but has been much better today. Anti itch cream is helping.

Could also be gnats. My son gets bites from those that look like this. Where we live they are especially bad this year. (MN)  
We are forced to use insect repellent every time we play outside as we live close to thick woods and water.  Babyganics natural repellent has worked great for us.

Yea maybe spider. Or bad reaction to mosquito bites. My husband swells up real bad with bug bites. Hope babies not in too much pain
