I had 2 my first had a heartbeat at my 8wk visit. But stopped growing shortly thereafter. My MC was confirmed at my 10w follow up. My second had a heat beat when I went in for 6wk visit but no longer had a heartbeat at my 8wk visit. 😞

The risk does drop after there’s a heartbeat but yes, it still does happen. We had a heartbeat at 6w3d and baby died a week later. 😭
