Dental work while pregnant?

Has anybody ever had a wisdom tooth extracted while pregnant? Is the pain medication Norco safe to take?
S/N: I am 15 weeks and 3 days today. Baby #3

I didn’t have them removed while pregnant but I didn’t take any narcotics after I got my 3 extracted. Maybe you can try taking Tylenol if they haven’t prescribed you any meds.

I believe 2nd trimester is the safest time to have dental work done; and your dentist should prescribe meds that are safe for you to take. I took Percocet (oxycodone and Tylenol) around 21 weeks after abdominal surgery and also had several doses of morphine in the hospital so in small doses those meds are okay. Still check with your OB or midwife though to be sure!!

Depending on how your wisdom teeth will need removed then it could be done while pregnant. If they aren’t causing you pain I would wait. I believe Norco is safe but I wouldn’t take anything without a doctor prescribing it to you and knows your medical history and that you are pregnant
