IUI question

My hubby has canceled his varicocele surgery because we just found out our insurance won’t cover it. The tentative plan is to do another SA in a couple of months (once he has been off of his anti epileptic med for 3 months) to see if his numbers have improved. At that point, if we have not been able to get pregnant, yet, we are going to look into IUI as our next option. His recent SA noted that his numbers were not great but JUST above what they want to see for an IUI. Has anyone here had a successful IUI with less than great numbers? Looking for any success stories, as I'm feeling like this is all a sign we aren't meant to have another child. Thanks
