IUI and endometriosis advice

Hi ladies,

I am hoping to get my first IUI soon (was postponed due to covid-19 restrictions). Been TTC1 for over 2 years, had a full work up and everything came back clear. AMH fine, no Thyroid problems, semen analysis all good. I also had an SIS.

My question is should I have a laprascopy before IUI. My doctor has not suggested that endometriosis could be the cause of my infertility however I have all of the symptoms. My period pain is unbearable and I don't know how much longer I can put up with it. My cycles are only 26 days and i can barely get out of bed with the pain. Should I insist on investigating possible endometriosis before going ahead and spending a lot of money on IUI?

Any advice would be much appreciated.
