My husband told me on Monday that he is only with me because of our kid’s and as soon as they are older he’s going to leave me. Ever since that day I haven’t talked to him because of that, and he tells me that he was “just kidding” and “I can’t take a joke” but at the time he said it we weren’t joking around. Am I overreacting by being upset or is he right and I shouldn’t be mad. Also, he does that a lot that he says hurtful things and then he’ll say he was “just joking” and “I can’t take a joke”.
