THANK GOD FOR BRACES

I used to be incredibly ashamed of my teeth. I was so insecure about them that I would sit hours in front of a mirror practicing how to pronounce certain words while showing as little teeth as possible. I would avoid social interaction and hated any sort of attention. If someone spoke on my teeth it would devastate me. I begged my parents for braces but we never had the money. Finally I saved up and gathered the courage to get my teeth looked at by an orthodontist at 22 years old. It was the best decision I ever made. Now I don’t have to cover my mouth when I smile; I’m able to laugh out loud with confidence.

*I’ve had my braces for 2.5 years and finally get them off the next time I go to the ortho!!!
