Feeling kind of odd

So I lost a lot of my mucous plug a couple weeks ago, some more Monday and just some more now. I am currently 36x4 with #3. All of my kids I start having contractions super early, like 15 weeks. Here lately I have them off and on all day and sometime in the evening they pick up for a couple hours but are almost instantly 5-3 minutes apart until they stop. Well tonight they’re slowly getting closer together instead of just being close. I had one contraction about 20 minutes ago that I would actually classify as painful and not just uncomfortable. After that contraction was when more of my plug came out. I don’t want to think too much about this, but does this maybe sound like my body might be trying to go into labor. Side note I had my first at 37 weeks and my second at 38.
