I went in for a pitocin induction last night at 4pm. Water broke at 1am.
They had already placed the epidural early due to risk of C-section from going for a VBAC but no meds hooked up until 1:30am. I also had to have 2 IVs in place ( one with nothing going on due to high risk of hemorrhaging from VBAC) and only took 3 tries for the 2 🥰. I went in at 2.5cm and after my water broke I was 3cm, then at 4am I was at 5cm. I then jumped up again to 9cm at 8:30am and turns out I had another was sac that my doctor popped. Went into pushing at 10:30 am and ended up in the decision of emergency C-section at 1:30 pm. So after three hours of pushing and his head just to the second segment of your index finger away from coming out my VBAC was unsuccessful. He was also coming out with his face pointing to the left and angled not up or down.
