Mine was going to but since covid happened, they all decided to go in on a car seat and a box of 3,000 wipes instead! I’m grateful either way and honestly we didn’t really need much else!

My work is shut down for pandemic but I’m due in September so we will see. We did throw the last 2 guys to go on paternity leave a little shower before they left. We just did a potluck breakfast and brought gifts in our usually daily stand up spot. Since we did it for the guys, I’d think they would do it for me as well but I don’t expect it and I invited the people I’m close to at work to my virtual shower.

With our first, my coworker (and close friend - she was in our wedding) threw me and our teammate a combo shower in our lounge. Just some cake and gifts if people wanted to contribute money - low key. I think if we hadn’t been such good friends, there wouldn’t have been one.

They talk to me about it but they definitely won’t throw me a baby shower. I wouldn’t want them to. But they do always try to help me do things and tell me I can’t lift stuff lol
