Ovulation bleeding

Hi all,

We have been trying for a baby for 6 months now, I’m 35 and my other half is 44. This is my first time trying, my partner already has a 10 year old son. I have regular periods and this month was no different. I have been off for about a week and am due to ovulate tomorrow, the last 2 days I have had some brownish discharge, I assume just because I am ovulating but never had this before, anyone else had this? I am having some pelvic pain too, just a dull ache nothing major.

Also anyone been successful starting a family at 35 and how long did it take? Looking for a little hope, I so want a family and I’m finally with the person that I feel ready to do this with.
