2 week old won’t let me put him down

I know, I know, he’s been all snug and close to me for 9 months but seriously this is tough!!! I end up holding him most of the day and sleeping with him on the couch recliner with him in my arms.. I’ve tried every day to lay him down especially in his bassinet but he’s instantly pissed and won’t sleep. I don’t want him to not sleep enough as that can make things worse. My first 2 boys were not this clingy and they would let me swaddle them. This baby will not do a swaddle. I feel a little helpless. I was strict with safe sleep with my first 2- never slept with me and I would not fall Asleep with them in my arms!! It’s about impossible to not doze off nursing him in the middle of the night and really nice he will sleep 2-3 hours that way. anyone else have a stage 5 clinger?? I’m so afraid he’s going to be a horrible sleeper and I’m never going to get a good, safe sleep routine going.
