Evap line?

So I took this test around 7am and peed directly on it. It says wait three minutes, but nothing showed up, not even the control line. I threw it away assuming it didn't have enough urine or something and about an hour and a half later saw two solid lines. I have seen all your evap lines and they're usually faint and after the control line had already shown up as it was supposed to. Are evap lines like this? So I took all your advice and retested (this time by dipping in a cup of urine) and it started working right away, with this showing up in less than a minute. Thanks for the advice everyone!
