Quiet day for kicks... Should I ring maternity unit?

I am trying not to panic as I have felt baby moving today. They just seem much more quiet than usual no matter what I do. I've tried lying on my side for long periods, but it hasn't prompted the usual reaction. The movements are there every few hours, but they feel weak. Is it normal for them to have quiet days in there?
Am 33 weeks 5 days.

Babies will always have quiet days. But it's also okay to call your doctor. I'm 33w5d and since my girl is head down now I don't feel nearly as much as I used to. She still has calm days but it's always been like that. Don't be afraid at all to call your doctor.

Thank you all! Went for a walk, had cold sugary drink and lay down on leftm Have had some movement since and feeling reassured. Think it's just a quiet day for them as they are head down.

I’m 33 + 4 and my baby has been extra quiet for the last couple of days as well. Usually I don’t worry bc I just figure he’s sleepy and going through a growth spurt. I measured my belly last weekend and my belly was 38 1/2”. I measured it again last night and it’s at 41” !! That is the quickest belly growth I’ve had yet. So it confirms my hypothesis. He’s just sleeping, chillin, and growing. 😊

Could it be that our Little Ones start to feel the lack of space in there?
My baby boy was a kicker, used to wake me up in the middle of the night with powerful kicks or to completely shift from one side to the other (freaking out his dad when he was seeing my belly moving).
But I am now almost 35 weeks and, although he is still moving regurlarly, he is getting quieter. Cannot help but to worry a bit...

I usually wait a bit more than 24 hours before panicking because no human is hyperactive 24/7, and we all have our tired/lazy days. If you still can’t get your baby moving much after that, then it’s wise of you to bring it up to your doctor ASAP.

so i actually went in a week ago for this! they say to drink a jug of cold water and to lay on your left side for an hour and see if that gives baby an urge to kick! (:
