Why would you cut ties with WHO?

I'm just trying to understand why the US would cut ties with WHO. Is there an underlying motive or did someone really fuck up?

I mean. Its like overpaying for a service and then the service provider not only doesnt deliver but treats u like u dont even matter.

We contribute to the WHO way too much to be left in the dark regarding pandemics/viral outbreaks. The fact they favor China is disgraceful considering how much the US pays into the WHO. Those are OUR tax dollars we could spend here and on our citizens.
