My daughters looked like that and my pediatrician just said it was about to fall off.

This is what my babies looked like yesterday it smelled wicked too! The pediatrician put silver nitrate and removed the rest of the stump. it no longer smells and looks to be healing better.

My son’s looked like that too. At his two week check up, the pediatrician put some silver nitrate on it to help it dry out. Two days later, it looked like a normal belly button!

My baby's umbilical cord looked like that. I think it's because it fell off too soon, im not sure.
