Hi! So I recently started birth control for the first time. I got my period on Monday and I put the patch on Friday. Would I be able to have sex on Saturday or a few days after? Or would I have to wait 7 days to be protected

You definitely need to wait for the hormones to start taking affect. Did you get a little booklet that came with them? It says exactly how long you need to wait in there. Usually you need to wait at least a week.
