More so small rant

So my OB scheduled my first glucose test when I was like 17 weeks. Never heard of them being done that early but ok, I’m not gonna cause trouble and just do it. It wasn’t bad at all! I passed with flying colors.

Then, for some reason, my OB wanted everything repeated when I was around 25 weeks I believe. Everything. My anatomy scan, labs, and glucose test. I thought it was weird considering everything was completely fine the first time. But ok, I’ll be compliant and just do it. Anything for my baby!

Ultrasound went perfect, lab results normal, but I failed my glucose test this time. So NOW I am currently sitting at my hospital doing the 3 hour test🤦‍♀️ and the lady asks me if I’m fasting. Luckily I was! I just pulled a 10 hour overnight shift and I never eat when working overnights. What has me irritated is that, when I did the other 2 glucose tests, my OB said I didn’t need to fast. So I hadn’t. Just irritating I’m now doing this for a THIRD time. If I’d have known I was to be fasting, I’m sure I’d have passed the last test.

Also, I’m crabby since I just worked, and am exhausted, ready for bed and now have to sit here for 3 hours when I just wanna snuggle in bed😂
