Prepping for ivf and full of questions

I have heard of people’s cycles getting cancelled before. I’m curious for anyone in this position, if you’ve paid cash, does this money get applied to another attempt with a new cycle?

I’m so new to this I’m not totally sure what is happening-and yes-I have reached out to billing to get information but am waiting to hear back, because I’m sure they won’t give me this kind of info first. I just want to understand what types of things come up with preparing for IVF and the financial impact it will have on my husband and I. The internet has so much information, yet I’m unable to find the specifics I’m looking for.
