Baby Shower 😞

So the pandemic has put a halt on a lot of things for us, baby shower included. I was supposed to have one by friends in April and that was postponed due to the host having a baby and the pandemic. So we rescheduled for June. The shower is next weekend and I feel like I have planned the shower myself, buying everything, getting all of the games, decor, and it’ll be hosted in my home. I was originally excited about being so involved when others were coming along to help and seemed to be interested, but now, no one seems really interested in it, or wanting to help. I feel like I’m just asking people to help, and there’s only going to be like 10 people there. Anyone else in this situation? It’s super awkward.

For reference: I’m moving in a month, my husband is military, and I have only known these women for 7 months.
