Bleeding in early pregnancy

Hi. This is my first pregnancy, I’m a bit of a worrier anyway so what’s to see if anyone’s had the same. I had a bit of bleeding yesterday which kind of looked like period blood, but it’s seemed to of subsided today. The midwife has just told me to rest up and relax as there’s nothing for me to do at the moment. Early scans are not being organised due to the pandemic 🙁 x
