Does Breastfeeding Get Easier/Painless After While?

If yes, how long did it take? Im pregnant with my 3rd baby. With my first 2 babies I didnt breastfeed long. I found it to be very stressful and my nipples were so sore I walked around my house topless everyday to avoid any friction from bras, shirts, and nipples pads. I didn't bother leaving the house, I was going through very tough times at what should have been a happy time and also dealing with PPD. I really want to try to do it longer with my 3rd baby.

Definitely by the first month I was pain free. Some breastfeeding positions were less painful for me too, like laying down with the baby seemed to not hurt I think.

2 months for.me but we were dealing with resistant thrush and reynauds syndrome of the nipples. Worth it though once the pain went away

Your boobs definitely have to get used to it at first, but I strictly breastfed my first two for the first year each one. You definitely get used to it. About a month in I’d say. I wish you the best of luck this time!! It’s definitely a commitment, and hard work.
