What’s happening?!?

Question

So I’m 5 days late on my period, and I’ve gotten negative pregnancy test. Two days ago I was cramping SO bad I just knew I was going to start, but I didn’t. I’m having so much discharge. I constantly feel like I have started but when I check, it’s just a crazy amount of discharge. I’m not sure what’s going on I’ve never had this much discharge in my life. It doesn’t hurt to pee or smell weird, so I know it’s not an infection. 
What do you think could be happening?

So when i felt exactly like this I was cramping off and on so I thought for sure I was going to start, I waited and waited I also go a ton of milky discharge I thought it was very odd but didn't think about it much. I took a pregnancy test and it was positive, but I was 6 weeks along so I never took a pregnancy test before that but it could be that it's still too early wait a few more days and then test again. Pregnancy and period symptoms are SO similar but it really sounds like you could be pregnant.

Is it possibly stress or a lifestyle change? Sometimes periods are just wonky. 
A lot of people are late with negatives this month :(
