Is she making a big deal? Being rube?

I got my package sent to my baby daddys house I asked him before doing so he said I could use his parents address I ordered things off Victoria Secret I have no mail boxes where I live I have a po box I ordered perfume it only shipped to a physical address everything else I can get at my po box instead of doing two separate orders paying for shipping I did it all together so I can get free shipping his parents have their own house they have a mail box could be left at the steps of there house my question is is his mother making something so small into such a big deal? Is she being rude?
