Can White people organize BLM protest?

So in my city 3 white females organized at peaceful BLM march. They were called out on another page saying that their march was a set up for the police to take advantage of the POC protesters. I know the organizers have no ill intent and are trying to use their privilege for the BLM movement. They were also called out saying they should join a protest that is organized by POC if they really wanted to do something.

My question is as a white person is it our place to organize these types of marches? Should we (white people) only join in protest organized by POC. Are they over stepping by organizing this march?

The general consensus on the post was that they were trying to do something positive for the Black Lives Matter Revolution but I was wondering what CC thought. Long time lurker here and I respect a lot of your views on any and all moral topics.

I personally think we (white people) should use our privilege in any way we can to help but in the same breath I don’t overstep and take away from the big picture. I’m not sure of how much is too much.
