Does anyone recommend any particular carpet type or extra large play mat to encourage baby to crawl more?

We have tile and while we do have those interlocking square puzzle mats in the nursery it’s not really a big area. We’d want to put something down for her in the living area.

Something 8x10 maybe or bigger?

We’d love to put a rug/carpet in the living area but we know nothing about materials 😅 and what works best for baby skin. She does have pretty sensitive skin and all the carpets I’ve seen (at target and Walmart etc) seem like they’d give rug burn.

Where does everyone put their babies for crawling time?
