Bathroom camera bust: justified?

CW

A woman hired two baby sitters for her kids. They watched them on opposite scheduled days of the week in the woman's home and did small chores around the house, like dishes and folding laundry.

Money and jewelry start to go missing and no one has seen any of it, some of which were family heirlooms or just expensive. So the mom buys a bunch of cameras and puts them in the major rooms. She doesn't see anything unusual but stuff is still going missing. After talking to her mother about it her mother suggests bathroom cameras. She then installed those too.

Turns out both the baby sitters were taking things. The woman had a habit of leaving jewelry and money in her jean pockets and washing them apparently. The girls would find stuff and go to the bathroom and hide it in their bras and panties to smuggle it out after their shift was over. I'm assuming they wore leggings and didn't want any obvious outlines in their pockets or maybe wore skirts?? Otherwise idk why sticking things in panties was necessary.

Anyway, the mother confronted the girls and they called the cops on her for filming them using the bathroom. Now there's a bigger mess.

Do you think she was justified with the bathroom cameras or not?
