I don’t want silence, but I hadn’t even thought to make a playlist! I might just play the radio or Spotify or something.

I had a music all set to go last labor and to be honest, didn’t listen to it once. I liked the silence

For me (4th baby) I need silence during contractions. Just to focus through them.

I did not do this for my first. Never even thought about it, and I didn’t feel like I was missing anything 🤷🏼‍♀️ I wound up delivering without an epidural (not my choice) and I think I was just too focused on what was happening to even notice.

I’m using a hypnobirthing soundtrack. I had it playing during my first labour too. Very relaxing and tranquil.
