Does anyone have or had a baby with extreme itching from eczema ? My 6 month old son has been itching to the point he will make himself bleed. He has it everywhere but the itching is strictly on his face. We lose hours of sleep over it and have made several trips to the doctors over this. I'm exclusively breastfeeding and they had me totally cut out dairy. That has made no difference. They had us try a steroid for a week ...didnt help. We got prescribed hydrocortisone for the itching ,a special prescribed cream. None of that helped. We also tried eucerin ,oatmeal baths ,aveeno therapy cream, and baby dove. I'm willing to try anything. This has been going on for 2 months straight. The pediatrician does not reccomend taking him to an allergist because he said its not likely it will be accurate until he is at least 2 or 3. I'm desperate for answers. My baby us miserable and its making me miserable. Any other tips that you mamas swear by ? Help ! TIA ❤
