How long after unsuccessfully ttc did you see a dr?

This is our 8th month ttc. Was successful in Jan but had a miscarriage. Just feeling defeated and wonder if I should talk to the dr? What’s everyone’s experiences?

Typically after a year under 35 and 6 months over 35.

At my yearly gyno visit I had talked to my doctor. Thankfully she was amazing and was happy to run some tests. This was at 9m ttc. By the time all the tests were done and results were in, we were 12m in ttc and she then referred me to a specialist. I was only 24 too.

They won’t see you until it’s been a year

My husband and I both made appointments during the 12th cycle.. but ended up getting pregnant during that cycle. Both our doctors told us to wait a full year of actively trying before doing any testing.

We were 34 and 35 when we started trying so I went after 6 months! Going on 2 years of trying with 4 early miscarriages, and “normal” test results for both of us..
