Our daughter Ryatt was born via planned C-section on June 1 at 7:40am. She weighed 7lb 7oz and was 20.5 inches long. My heart could not be happier.

Everything went smoothly - even the spinal block, which I was nervous about. My doctor and OR team kept me calm and laughing throughout the entire surgery. Our daughter was stubborn and needed a vacuum to come out, but she is healthy and I am healing well. Despite wanting a natural, vaginal birth in the beginning, I truly believe that a planned C-section was what was best for me and my daughter. My birth ended up being exactly what it was meant to be. ♥️
