Whats the correct way to take pills? (Birth control pills)

So I was thinking of taking pills bcs my bf and I did it without a Condom, but he released it outside tho. Just wanted to take pills for prevention and heard that some pills can cure acne and other skin problems. What do you think about it? 
Btw this will be my first time taking pills. Advise from the experts? Anyone? Thank you.  💕

Well, it's not going to erase anything that's already happened. 
But speak with your healthcare provider about what birth control is right for you. It's important that if you're on the pill that you take it when you're suppose to, even if you have to set a reminder on your phone. It doesn't prevent STI's, but does help prevent pregnancy. But must be taken as explained in the pamphlet that comes with it to be the most effective.
