How long were you guys hospital stay? I’ve heard many are just keeping you a day and sending you about your business😂.

7 hrs! I’m in U.K. tho maybe different .. baby was born at 7.10pm we went home at 2am it was great! X

It’s normal to stay a day only and go home unless there are complications. Or a c section.

I delivered two years ago and it was a 24hr stay only if things were normal and baby + mom was healthy.

I had a scheduled induction. Went in March 31st at 4:30pm, had my baby April 1st at 12:58pm and went home (I asked to go home as early as possible) 24 hours after delivery. They kept us for 24 hours after delivery because they had certain tests they had to run once she was one day old. Once those came back clear we could leave

I had my baby at home, so zero days. My friend had a baby in November (so pre covid) and was only in the hospital for 1 day after giving birth

With my first in 2017 I had her at 2:30 am and sent home at noon lol

I delivered on a Friday at 9:44am and went home at 12:30pm the following day. Thanks to COVID, our hospital was discharging earlier. Typically it’s a 2 day stay for an uncomplicated vaginal delivery and 3 days for a c-section. With our oldest. I was in the hospital for 2 days (different hospital than I delivered at this time) and my sister, who had a c-section earlier this year was in the hospital for almost 3 days.

In 2018, I was there for 7 days due to complications. I’m hoping for a shorter stay this August!
