How many months am I?

Hey everyone.! I’m 18 weeks today & was wondering how many months I am. I heard many say 18 weeks is 5 months so I go by that but my family tells me I just entered 4 months.. I’m getting confused🙇🏻‍♀️Thank Youu.!

To be technical (because I like numbers 🤣)...you are IN your 5th month and have completed 4 full months. At 18 weeks I’d say your 4 months. At 20 weeks you’ll be 4.5 months, etc, etc. Think of it like birthdays. Your baby will be 0 when born and in his first month but he won’t be 1 month old until December. Hope that makes sense!

If you know when LMP was just count out from there. Most people count 4 weeks as 1 month when they are pregnant. Today I am 16+1 lmp was Feb 15th. I will be 4 months pregnant June 15th based off of lmp and that day I will be 17+2 weeks.

It’s hard to say as months are all different lengths, which is why pregnancy is measured in weeks. If you want to work out months you will need to go month by month from the date of your last period. 
For example, my last period was 23rd Feb so on the 23rd June I will be 4 months. 
That make sense?
