Starting table food?

We haven’t started table food yet, just purées. Curious when you started your little ones? Did they have teeth?
My girl’s nurse said to wait until she has more teeth, but I feel behind on this. She’s only had one little tooth break through.

My son doesn’t have any teeth and is eating a lot of different table foods. My pediatrician said that if you can easy mush the food with a spoon than it should be okay. We started doing table food around 6 months and he’s been doing great with them! They figure it out pretty quickly how to eat it. Just start off with soft foods first like bananas, avocados, and just go from there.

Everything I read said they don't need teeth to eat. My pediatrician said give him soft things he can him down. He has 4 teeth and when I feed him scrambled eggs he doesn't even use his teeth. You can start table foods when you feel comfortable! We've started giving a few things

You chew with your molars. If we waited until babies had those to give them table food, it could be close to 2 years old. 
Mine has 4 teeth now and Had 2 when we started table food at 6 months and she eats everything. Steak, chicken, shrimp, corn on the cob, all veggies and fruits, pastas, breads, cheese, Cheerios.

Our ped says you dont have to wait for teeth. We feed him pieces of what we eat. We did purees 5month to 6 months and then just gradually increased past 2 months w table food. He still doesnt have anything very hard

She eats what I eat as long as it’s soft. Mac and cheese, spaghetti, eggs, green beans, she enjoys being independent and feeding herself. She also only has one tooth.

Depends on the baby. Our kidlet is 9 months old, but doesn't like table food yet. We keep offering. Banana, avocado, raspberries, egg etc. He has yet to show interest, but we at least offer.

I started feeding my little one purées 5-6months, he is now 9 months he eats anything that we’re having for dinner we just cut it up into smaller pieces and we also allow him to eat everything on his own can be messy. Have a look online for BLW ideas, we started with banana and sweet potato

I started giving my daughter table food around 6 months. I give her fruit (cut into small
Pieces) avocado, toast with almond butter, chicken, salmon, tuna, noodles with unsalted butter or with tomato sauce. She also gets small bites of whatever my husband and I are having for dinner (as long as it isn’t too seasoned or spicy). Basically anything except milk and honey of course.

Babies don’t chew with their teeth, they use their back gums which are very strong
