When did you start your baby on solid foods?!

Just curious when you started you baby on baby food. My son is 3.5 months old but I feel like it won’t be much longer!

Not until six months.  Please read up fully on wearing before you start the process early there really aren’t any benefits to it

All major health organizations are 6m due to gut maturity. These are the ready signs an infant must meet before starting. There is no need to rush solids anyway. 
Info: drs/pedis are not required to stay up to date with current information from aap, who, cdc, unicef. They are not nutritionists and have little to 0 education in nutrition. Only basics.

My daughter was 6 months old. That was our pediatrician recommendation.

I first started with purées at 4 months but I just didn’t work. She was very interested in my food and watching me eat but eating herself wasn’t a succes yet. 
So I just waited a bit and tried again at 5 months. It went a bit better. My daughter is now almost 6 months and she finally starts liking it
My advice, try a bit at 4 months. If you think your baby isn’t ready just wait a bit longer and try again when the baby is a bit older

Almost at 4 months my baby was interested in food and would try and taste pures just for a fun thing to do, but primarily got his nutrition from milk. It wasn't until about 6months we started implementing a breakfast, lunch and dinner routine on solids with bottles still.

Just started my daughter on a few spoonfuls of puréed food with her tea time bottle and she’s 4.5 months old

4months with pediatrician’s consent. I started with just 1 tbs of oatmeal (formula mixed in) in the morning.. then moved up to 2tbs. At 5months I started veggies... same process with amounts. Our baby is 6 months now and I’ll give me about 3-4tbs of oatmeal and 3tbs of veggies. Getting ready to add on dinner!

Not until 6 months as it can cause issues if you start to soon and even after that just for fun until 1.
