Mother nature or????

So my period is due to start today. For the past 4-5 days I've been getting little twinge here and there in my lower abdominal area. Yesterday I wiped after using the bathroom and there was light pink discharge on the paper so I thought I started early. I have had no discharge or bleeding since.

Not sure if it was aunt flow or what. Never had that happen before. Im scared to test because frankly I think it'd be negative and I'd be mad at myself for wasting money on a test.

Any input or other women experience this before and have it go either way?

If its my period its fine, if not great.

We arent exactly trying for another baby but we aren't preventing either.
