My mom hates my boyfriend

Help, I've been with my guy for like 6.5 years and I love him to death, but my parents specifically my mom hates him. Every time I bring him up she tries to convince me to break up with him or that he is bad for me. We are long distance and have been for 2 years because I went away for school to follow my dreams and he originally was going to come with me but my mom convinced me that I needed a year to be on my own. We are finally planning to move in together and for him to come live with me but when I told my mom she told me I was stupid and that I should leave him because he is no good for me. All I want is to be with the man I love but my mom is mentally blocking me from that. What do I do?
