Too much weight gain?

I was 174 before I got pregnant (I'm 5'3.5') Now I am 1 week from induction at 226...

Nah. There's only so much you can do to control pregnancy weight gain. With my first baby, I counted calories religiously and still gained 70 pounds. I lost 35 of it immediately after birth and the rest came off gradually with just regular exercise and healthy eating. 
With my second baby, I ate healthy (but didn't count calories) and exercised 4-5x a week up until delivery. This time I gained about 55 pounds. I dropped about 25 pounds immediately. I'm now 4 months postpartum and have lost 40 pounds so far without doing anything different. 
Some of us just pack it on during pregnancy. 🤷‍♀️

I was similar. At my first obgyn appointment I weighed 166 lbs and by my last weigh in before my son was born, I was a whopping 238 lbs. My obgyn never seemed concerned about my weight gain. But I suspect I was showing signs of preeclampsia in the last few weeks of my pregnancy. I had a lot of water retention, at times my vision would get blurry, and I’d feel really sick. I went 4 days past due and when I had my post date ultrasound, my amniotic fluid was dangerously low and they decided to induce me but lucky for me, I went into labor naturally that very night. 
However, admittedly - I wasn’t drinking enough water and I ate a lot of junk while I was pregnant. So just make sure you’re drinking plenty of water and opting for healthier options to foods you’re craving. On the bright side - while my son was small, 6 lbs 13.5 oz and 19 inches long, he was healthy. And I’ve lost about 70 lbs since he was born, (he’s 17 months old) and I’m about 183 lbs now.

I was about 185 with my son and got to over 220lbs before he was born.  Back down to pre baby weight alas and he's almost 7.5 months
My other 3 babies I gained 20lbs each time as well. 
Is your doctor isn't worried i wouldn't be concerned
