Anyone with multiple children - did it ever take you a while to get pregnant?

I know this may sound silly but my husband and I are on our 10th cycle (8th month, I have shorter cycles) TTC. I had a chemical pregnancy cycle 4 of trying. That oddly gives me hope that it’s possible, it’s just a timing thing. At least that’s what I’m telling myself. 
I see people with 4+ children and I guess I just assume it came easily and quickly for them. 
We are both about to be 28 this summer. We want 3-4 children. The longer this is taking the more that dream seems impossible to achieve. I want to be pregnant so badly. We want a big family of our own. I just want to know if anyone has ever been in my shoes and went on to have multiple children naturally? Give me hope!! 😔

I've been ttc baby #2 for 3 years this week. I had no problem conceiving my 4 year old but since starting ttc I've had 2 early miscarriages, a chemical, and a miscarriage due to blighted ovum. Currently in the tww on cycle 6 of trying again since my last miscarriage.

There is so much variety with this.  It took me around the same amount of time to get pregnant with all my babies (including miscarriage).  But I have friends that it took a year for the first & a month for the second or vice versa.  There is so much that comes into play - hormones, breastfeeding, becoming more familiar with your cycle, your cycle changing pp, etc.  I’ve even heard of people needing IVF for #1 & falling pregnant naturally & quickly with #2.  There are some great mamas on Instagram who open up about their infertility journey & having a big family.

I only have once child and currently trying for my second but that will be it for me. I ￼ definitely don’t want 4 lol. But yes people get pregnant naturally all the time and have big families. For some it’s just not in the cards. I got pregnant at 29 very quickly (2 months of trying) but now at 32 it’s taking longer (9 months so far) just the way it goes.

With my first it took 9months to conceive, My first will be 3 at the end of July, my daughter is a year and a half and I’m 39 weeks pregnant. I will have 3 under 2 for one month. I thought the same thing when trying to get pregnant with my first but now here I am about to have my third. It’ll happen ❤️
