Don’t feel strong chemistry?

I’ve been dating my boyfriend for about 3 months now. He has so many great qualities that are rare, but our physical chemistry just feels off. Like when we kiss it’s good, but I don’t feel that passion and when we’re intimate I feel the same way. Intimacy is a emotional and physical connection to me and it doesn’t feel like we’re emotionally bonding from it if that makes sense. And There’s nothing wrong with his size at all. Intimacy with My last and only partner was so strong and spot on. I know it’s bad to compare. I’ve tried gently talking to my boyfriend about it but he says he doesn’t understand why I feel like that and that he feels emotional with the intimacy. I just don’t know what to do..I don’t know if it will get better.
