Advice Please!
I have been having issues with super irregular periods since I started getting a period years ago. It became an issue in high school and I went to a gynecologist and she wouldn’t listen to me just kept saying it’s fine and it’s normal to be late except I knew it wasn’t because I’d go 6+ months without getting a period. I recently switched gynecologists because I had enough of her just brushing me off and was diagnosed with PCOS by my new gyno just last week and the diagnosis makes so much sense because I’ve struggled with a lot of the symptoms for years now. My question to you ladies is what do you do to help the symptoms? The acne, the weigh gain (diet plans and exercise plans), the scalp hair loss and breakage, and the excess hair growth (chin and facial hair and such) and what kinds of medications or birth control should I talk to my gyno about? Any other advice? I’m really trying to get as much information as I can on this so I know what I need to do to live a healthy life. Thanks in advance!
