To the Hospital.

Sooo I’m one of the ones that’s been complaining about not feeling like anything promising has been going on with my body and pregnancy being that I reached 39 weeks with NO symptoms.

Well, this morning I had some watery discharge. Not very much just enough to annoy me and change undies. Me and my husband made love and then went about our day in the house. I began leaking again here and there but figured it was from sex.

We went out to breakfast. Went shopping for 2 hours. While shopping I had to go to the bathroom twice because of the leaking. I began being suspicious of this fluid at this point lol. Like maybe this is not from sex.

We finished up and went home. While putting things away I just kept on with the random leaks. So I figure I’ll call the hospital to just inform them and see what they think is best.

Well they said come on down and and bring your hospital bag just in case. So we gathered our stuff and headed in. Now I’m here in an exam room. They just checked and sure enough my water did break.

I’m 3cm and 70% effaced so i guess this is pretty random but they said it can happen like this. I’ve had basically zero contractions today. I feel like I may have had some while sleeping last night, just mild cramps from what I can remember. I’m in literally no pain whatsoever just like I’ve been this whole pregnancy which up until recently had me discouraged, but hey I guess you really can just feel like nothing and then poof they are asking if i would like to ride a wheelchair to L&D lol.
