Your induction can be a positive experience! We got to the hospital around 730am, checked in, got comfy, started fluids. Hung out made a plan with the anesthesiologists because i have horrible scoliosis. Started pitocin at 1030am, they only put me on level 2 and I started contracting pretty good. tried an hour for the epidural but ended up getting a spinal for the pain, my labors go fast and I did not want to go natural. The spinal was interesting lol! Definitely was awesome with pain relief. At 2pm I was at a 10 and ready to push. We did some practice pushed waiting for my OB to get into the room. He was here by 2:29pm. No tears no stitches. I just wanted to share my induction because I know there is a ton of fear around it! In total i was in labor for 4 hours! I do have a spinal headache but that was my choice and I am happy with the plan my drs chose for me!
