When does the first trimester end ?

Does the first trimester end when your 12 weeks or 13 weeks ... I’m confused. I had a doctor appointment yesterday and seen another doctor at the office he read my chart and said I’m 13 weeks. He also said I’m out my first trimester. My baby app says I then 13 weeks every Wednesday. Maybe I’m thinking too deep into it .

13 weeks is the end of the first trimester! So starting at 14 weeks you’re in the second trimester 🥰 or 13 weeks since it’s your last week, either or but I’d say when you hit 14 weeks!

I was always told it's the end of your 12th week. So your first trimester ends 12weeks, 6days. And 13weeks is the first day of trimester 2.

Different depending on where u are america seems to be week 13 but the uk is week 12

40 weeks ÷ 3 trimester technically makes 13.3 weeks. That's why there is so much back and forth. Count it however you are happy counting it 💖 there's also back and forth on when 3rd trimester starts. I see 27 and 28 weeks all the time.
