Digital vs. regular test

I tested yesterday 5 days before my missed period. Regular test was positive and digital test negative. We’ve been trying for ultimately two years for baby #3 (took a very long time for my first two as well with two losses). I know I need to wait and test again but it’s consuming my thoughts! Anyone have a similar experience?? Thank you in advance!
