Could this be preterm/early labor?

Hey mamas, ftm here, just seeing if anyone has gone through something similar and when their labor started. I had contractions wed night and was admitted overnight to l&d for observation. I was 1 cm dilated. My contractions became irregular and spaced far apart over the 5 hrs i was there so they discharged me. Thursday after being discharged I was still have contractions but not as frequent and a lot of cramping. Now today, I’m having increased yellowish discharge (no infection) with the same cramping and contractions. Could this possibly mean labor is coming sooner rather than later? I’m 35+1 weeks.
