High OPK after ovulation?

Question

I’ve been getting positive/high opk strips after my peak and predicted ovulation day CD22 (apart from 1 low). 
Does this mean I’m just having a longer surge? Or possibly ovulating later than suggested? I thought I was 1DPO but still testing high. Cycle average is about 35 days. First month TTC and using opk.

Keep testing and if you're still getting highs or peeks, wait until roughly 8/9 DPO and test with a HPT. That being you're TTC 😁 As I was hitting highs until I decided to test with a HPT. Now I'm 8 weeks 5 days. Good luck 🤞

Thanks everyone! I will keep testing and see what happens. I thought it was meant to go back down after ovulation. Not sure if this means I should still keep trying?

Its impossible to answer your question without temping. Opks dont confirm ovulation. If you are only using opks, youre supposed to stop testing once you get a positive and assume you'll ovulate the next day. In reality, ovulation can be anywhere from 12 to 48 hrs later. The length of your surge doesn't matter. Some people ovulate during their surge and some ovulate immediately following. And some dont ovulate at all. You need to be temping to confirm.

Looks like youre not testing at the same time. Id try do it same time first thing in the morning. my tests say first pee of the day.  They have the most hormones in them
