What do we think the rules and regulations are going to be when us lady’s give birth ? I so desperately want my momma to be there as she is my rock.

There’s really no way to know. People keep saying there will likely be a second wave in the fall 🤷🏻‍♀️

Not for everyone, but I am planning my third home birth for this October, my midwife has no restrictions, I will have her the birthing assistant, and my sister and husband with me.

Honestly, my doctor said us October moms should be giving birth in a more relaxed circumstance. He said they worry more about November/December mamas in case COVID is cyclical like the flu

Mine is mom is tested before labor. If she’s negative she’s in with no mask, dad (or support person) is allowed with 24/7 mask and not allowed to leave and come back. 
If mom is positive no support and separated from baby for 1-2 weeks. 
Vaginal birth 1 day stay. 
C section 2 day stay. 
No visitors at all. 
Subject to change with how this virus decides to fluctuate.

I don’t worry about it since everything changes constantly. I’ll start worrying when I’m about 34 weeks

I believe they will allow only one person in with you. Thats how it is right now in our state.

Depends on where you live. My state is expected to have its highest predicted daily deaths on Oct 1 and the prediction only goes through Oct 1. I believe the hospital near me currently allows one person with you. I’ll get more info at my next appointment
